Yes
I didn't count them, but there are many shops at the Souk
Amazing, this is my first time experience to abroad, and really love with this place, very beautiful 😍
Love this place. Always bring our visitors/friends here when they come visit. We also love it here. Lots of bars, restaurants lots of shops and amazing views. Great place to come and unwind.
One of three nicest hotels I've been to, the architecture is just stunning!! As you arrive you're greeted by large golden horse statues that look stunning and setup what is literally pure luxury as you enter the reception area. Stunning views of the Burj Al Arab from the terraces and gorgeous canals connecting you to other parts and restaurants.
This is definitely one of my favourite shopping malls in the city. Lovely atmosphere and lots of stuff to do there. Best to take visiters and friends who are new to Dubai. Best place to meet new people from all over the globe. You get free parking for the first 2hrs. But parking space are usually cramped.
Souk Medinat Jumeirah is a shopping mall full of Arab heritage, incorporating aspects of modern technology. It is part of the Medinat Jumeirah Resort. It has more than 75 shops, galleries and more than 50 different local restaurants, the view of the surroundings looks different in the evening, next to it is the famous illuminated Burj Al Arab. At night there is a variety of songs and entertainment. You can easily find the perfect scented perfume, flashing lanterns, scented spice items to take home with you.
It is a decent place to visit with a heavy touch of Arabic experience. The mall is filled with Arabic shops selling authentic local Arabic merchandise. The landscape within the mall was a pleasant surprise and everything was elegantly decorated. I wasn’t able to buy anything as most shops sell Arabic style clothing, kitchenware and decorations, but it was nice to explore through them. Parking was easy and free so it is very convenient to get there if you drive. It’s very close to the Burg Khalifa so that adds to the experience too.
Beautiful place but not clear shop numbers
Beautiful place with fascinating architecture, if you are looking for a more authentic cultural experience of Dubai then this place is a must see. Lots of restaurants in the area, and the scenic view of Burj Arab at the water creek is wonderful. Good place for souvenirs, although probably slightly more expensive. Good walking area especially in good weather!
Absolutely love the restaurants there, obviously the building/renovation is off putting, but it will be worth having it all under cover. Hoping to see Movies opening instead of the Theater? But the biggest problem is traffic & parking. The valet is almost impossible to use as you can't get up to them and the staff attempting to control traffic at the roundabouts & just in general, are clearly not trained properly! The taxis appear to have their own rules & compound the problem. Can't believe this cant be managed better?
Very cosy place esp. in winters and their Christmas market is arguably the best in town however other than Christmas season there ain't much option for kids in case you're visiting with kids. Parking is really difficult to find as well during Christmas days however it's not an issue during rest of the year
Although the shops (Souks) here are a bit on more expensive side than the traditional n real souks in Gold souk area..however it is obviously a great place to enjoy a wonderful day in Dubai .. Recommended: having lunch with great view of Burj Al Arab n live music... surrounding hotels n resorts are too good..!!
Souk Madinat is a one of a kind place. Built like a tiny oriental town it houses stores, services and restaurants. Free 3 hour parking and the lovely views are worth visiting that place.
Stay, eat, shop, relax, walk around, all in one place. The Souk is the traditional Dubai, shoes , clothes, scarfs, scents, sage, sand work, art, music ,the ambience This place is alive day and night!! Have fun.
What an amazing big art place it is. Beautifully designed building with lots of artistic items with love music players and regency blend of artists. My visit this place.
Beautiful place, free to visit. During weekdays 1st 2 hrs free car parking. Traditional souq market, burj al arab view, traditional buidling architecture. Abra ride also available. Madinat jumeirah hotel is seprate one
This is a good tourist place too. Love the way this souk has been designed. Great to click photos.
Nice heritage type shopping experience, but very less brands.
Very nice place. Madinat Jumeirah the Arabian Resort - Dubai is a 5 star resort in Dubai. It is the largest resort in the Emirate, spreading across over 40 hectares of landscapes and gardens. It is designed to resemble a traditional Arabian town.Souk Madinat Jumeirah is an authentic re-creation of an ancient marketplace with traditional Middle Eastern style and ambiance; located in the heart of dubai.
Great stuff available and a very chilled out place with so many options for all foodies
Great vibes and fantastic food places. Awesome location. My favourite shopping district in Dubai.
This place is nice. Food is good. I like the atmosphere. We celebrate a friend’s birthday. Everything was perfect
This is one of my favourite places in Dubai. The ambiance it gives is very cozy with great restaurants and views. Truly an enjoyable experience.
The Souk Madinat continues to bring in the crowds. Great atmosphere and with live, traditional entertainment. I even saw a Falcon. Amazing back drop of the iconic Burj Al Arab for a lovely dinner. Over 100 unique stores. Well worth a visit and great for a special occasion meal.
Very interesting and clean mall in the style of a traditional oriental bazar - certainly way more worth seeing than the Mall of Emirates. The restaurants are very expensive, though, but the Promenade is absolutely lovely and quiet. During Christmas time there's even a huge Christmas market outside (which, I feel, is still very weird in a place like this).
Absolute love this place. Always amazing to go to. I always take my guests here as the views are beautiful and there's a great selection of food and drink and not forgetting the shops that sell unique gifts and memorable items.
Beautiful layout. Very entertaining.
I would rate this place as 6 stars if I could. Enjoy the merchants, buy some souvenirs, be amazed by the beautiful views outside, chill on the restaurants by the canal and take the Abra tour ($27 for 20 minutes) around 5:40 or 6 pm and get your camera ready for stunning pics.
Loved the place. It has an Arabic culture and design. Specifically the market. The lake is very clean and a tourist attraction
we came here during Christmas time and in our opinion Madinat Jumeirah managed to pull off its aim to recreate an old Arabian town (albeit) with a touch of contemporary styling; we especially appreciated the barajeels (wind tunnels) which in our minds complemented the overall look and feel of the huge bazaar. we took a mini abra boat ride around its canal and marvelled at the posh living quarters of the boutique hotels. an entirely enjoyable experience both in and around the bazaar.
It’s one of best places in Dubai with a nice bars and restaurants , nice view and one of my favorite places to visit in cold weather
A nice area to walk and to discover a nice zouk. Following the river you will enjoy the quiet place and fresh moments a small Venice in Dubai.
I don’t know why our guides took us here, we thought it was some sort of sightseeing place but it was more of a fancy food court, with a bunch of restaurants. Our guides were telling us that this place was created by analogy of Venice which I couldn’t see. Good place for eating I guess but not sightseeing.
When stepping in I didn’t expect too get in such a beautiful place, old Dubai style. Nice shops for autenthic stuff. Super clean mall with fun items. This time a year they have a Christmas fare and my children loved it. In Dubai this is a must see
It's somewhat interesting. It might look traditional but it mostly sells cheap souveniers. There are some nice views on the sea side.
Perfect place for eateries and shopping and wandering around
The shopping experience and atmosphere were top notch. The 100 Dirham boat ride were also worth the price of admission, especially in the evening with all the lighting on.On minor downside is that the foods were rather expensive, but understandable for a place like this.Recommended if you have the chance to visit Dubai
This is really a nice and calm place carrying the traditional Arabic arts and crafts along with cultural stuffs. There are many restaurants located in Souk Madinat and you can spend some quality time with a nice view including Burj Al Arab on your sight depend on the restaurant you visit. It is not just a nice place it is a romantic place as well because of the atmosphere built by restaurants and designs. Parking is really a big deal during weekends. Most of the visitors get lost inside the Souk Madinat.
This place has an amazing ambiance and traditional architecture which makes it unique from other shopping malls. The restaurant area by the lakeside is the best place for a romantic date. Also best view for Burj Al Arab.
It's a bit different than the other public places. Here the place is calm, quite and silent compared to other malls. Moreover we can buy Dubai's antiques, ancient models, perfumes and much more. Food shops, Restaurants are also available. I loved this place. There's a view point to the beautiful Burj Al Arab from this place.
Wonderful to walk around, some of the densely decorated stores are like entering the cave of wonders. However, you can feel like lack of authenticity in the building, clean and organised, it’s a well made replica of an Arabian bazaar. Sellers charge absurd prices to take advantage of tourists, considering the plethora of nearby 5+ star hotels.
Great place to visit for a walk and grab a bite to eat! Looks beautiful during both day and night! Many choices for restaurants around!
I went to the Christmas market. Very convenient using the bus. Very enjoyable. Had some mulled wine. Walked around the soul after. Look forward to the next one
One of the best souq in jumeirah to explore site seeing...
Very nice place, this is like a movie. All is perfect.
Best place to relax during winter days. Great place for shopping and dining. You will get a closer view of Bur Al Arab. Offers a stunning view of lake in the sunset. Very lively place .
Traditional souq with good antiq collections and awesome views
Romantic place with a very good view. You can buy good souvenir items here but a little bit pricey compare to other places. Restaurants are available from Arabic to international taste. Boat riding is affordable. Sometimes in the evening they have a mini concert. So many tourists are visiting since the hotels are just around the corner.
Quasi-historic market place with lots of souvenir shops. Underground parking and central location at the end of Umm Suqeim street make it a nice destination to go out in the evenings to one of the many restaurants here.
A rather small market with an upscale vibe. You don't get the vibrancy of real markets and crowds here. Haven't check out the prices but there seem to be quite a number of souvenir and jewellery shops here. Love the musicians playing here.
An authentic Arabian souq experience. Best tourist spot in Dubai Jumeirah area.
